Tired of repeating and repeating these lines everyday that I just wanted to record and just played it everytime they need to clean up their mess. "Ligpit na ang toys" we will take a bath na blah blah blah and everything that I think will make "uto" the twins ..But with no effect! Hay...Everyday Clutter!
As they say, the best way to solve organization problems is to get rid of the stuff that needs organizing.
TumugonBurahinMaybe it's time to prune their toy collection.
I remember causing home clutter when I was little as well. And I have observed it to some kids, too. Haha. Maybe having a toy basket or bag will help.

Clutters is expected when you have kid are home. They are simply unstoppable when in the mood to play
TumugonBurahinI think I may have to record my voice and play it over and over again whenever I tell my daughter to put her toys away. That's just how kids are, I guess. But we parents should still keep reminding them to clean up after playing. Eventually, I guess they'll get the hang of it.

This usually happens when there are kids at home. I also have a 23-month old son that is why I can't relate. But I don't encounter clutters that much because he actually put back all his toys after playing. We teach him how to put it back and he learn naman it easily. Though there are still times he forgot to put it back so we just remind him to do it.
TumugonBurahinMy niece does the same way too. Everydayyyy! But there are times that she actually helps on putting it to the right place, unless she minds other business. Often we play like shooting all the toys through a box. I guess it helps her to understand that her toys should be put back in place after playing.
TumugonBurahinWe have the same clutter at home, my 18month old son likes to take all his toys from the box and never bother to return it. hayz..
TumugonBurahinYup that's what my place looks like when I come home from work. Worse if my daughter's friend comes over to play :)
TumugonBurahinGrabe! Our sala looks exactly the same at the end of the day. Hay! I can't wait for the Little One to start cleaning up her own messes. Hehehe! =D
TumugonBurahinawww! your twins are precious :-) about the toys? hmmmm...my kids are 9 and 5 and am dealing with the same mess everyday. Sometimes they clean and sometimes they do not. I would suggest hide the toys that they do not need to play. Tomorrow is our garbage day here, I will check their toy bins and throw toys that they do not need to play.

Hahaha! That's kids! Perhaps you could talk to them and teach them to keep their toys when they finished playing. Kids are still obedient just show them and help them when cleaning and keeping the mess.
TumugonBurahinhehehe... i think this is the problem of everybody who has little people (kids) in the house :)
TumugonBurahinI don't have twins but I know exactly how you feel! It's like we have cyclones INSIDE the house with our kids, especially the little one. You spend time cleaning up and they're on your trail making a mess out of everything. But I'm sure it's just a phase that they will outgrow in time. For now, let's remind them of the need to keep the house (and environment) clean and practice what we preach.
TumugonBurahinA happy clutter! I think almost all moms are like that...
TumugonBurahinIn our household clutter courtesy of our little girl is very much welcome... because we can't do anything about it...Hehehe
Wow twins. I have twin nieces and I have seen them grown. Mas malaki pa nga kaysa sa aki. hehe
TumugonBurahinI want to have twins too.
Naku! kung makita mu lang yung sa amin.. hahhah...yeah I guess this is really house life is with kids.. :)
TumugonBurahinVisiting from BC Bloggers Comment Hop See you back!
usual scenario ito sa bahay kaya alam mo pag ang bahay malinis, walang toddler for sure. =)
TumugonBurahincan totally relate! hehe! good thing medyo nag papack up na sya ng toys after playing kase tinuturo sa school..
TumugonBurahinOh man! I must've done this to my parents too. Hehe. Siguro nga showing them the right way to do it will eventually lead them to doing it din.:) Mahirap lang kasi they're twins, so double effort. But you're lucky to have twins! Cherish it :)
TumugonBurahinI can so relate when the Little Ones play it seems a hurricane hit the room. I am kind of OC so I really can't understand why they make such a mess because when I was young I never played this way. But I guess they are different so that best we can do is to remind them to clean up after playing and make sure they put their toys in their bins and cabinets.
TumugonBurahinthat's typical of a house with toddlers :-) i went through that stage also, but then again, i'm still going through that until now that i have two teenagers in the house, lol.

That is realy part of growing kids. My son knows how to arrange his toys after using it. We taught him how to do it when he was around 1 year and 6 months. Until now he still do it, even his shoes and slippers he knows how to return it.
TumugonBurahinThe house is really chaotic with children around. I really like to teach them to return their toys before doing the next activity. I have to repeat this since I have three small children. The third one's still a baby so I have a few more years to go!
TumugonBurahinShow your kids how to put things in order. Reward them when they do it. Since they're still young, have more patience.
TumugonBurahinlol, same here.. that's why sometimes parang I wanna hide all their toys nalang, but then they will find something else naman to clutter the house with.. so you just can't do anything about it.. that's mommyhood for all of us! =)
TumugonBurahinour home is full of clutter too. ganito na talaga siguro pag may mga bata ehehe
TumugonBurahinMy house too is in a mess due to the kids. I really hope that they learn to clean up after themselves soon.
TumugonBurahinI have two preschoolers who are less than a year apart and are like twins in so many ways. I bought each of them a basket that they use when it's cleanup time. We also have a song that encourages them to pack away their toys. The song and the baskets together work like magic. :D
TumugonBurahinRead more about them at http://www.totteringmama.com.
Lahat yata ng mommies ganyan ang nakikita araw-araw. Just last night, I told my son to pack away his toys since it was bedtime. He looked at me and said, "Mommy, sleepy na ako. You pack away the toys sabi ni daddy." Can't help but laugh!
TumugonBurahinGive them baskets to put their toys, that's a start.
I have a 3.7yo girl and a 1yo naman. The little one is always on the go to catch up things and throw it everywhere. What I do is to let the big sister clean up her mess. My eldest loves Barney, so together we help each other clean up their toys for example while singing the "Clean-up Song". Bonding with us, at the same time I'm teaching the eldest to clean up even if it's not her mess. Pero mahirap. May mga times na tamad siya, LOL! But it's okay. She's getting used to it na nga. Isang sabihan nalang minsan (kasama laki ng mata ko, LOL!) clean-up agad si ate.
TumugonBurahinThat's why we are SUPER MOMS. Goodluck sis.
I only got 1 kid. Having two? I can't imagine.
TumugonBurahinprovide them a basket/plastic trays to put their toys...and clean up time of toys before their next activity should be included in their routine
TumugonBurahinyour twins are so cute!
I have a son (turning 4 next month) and he used to scatter all his toys when he's playing. We taught him how to put his toys back when he's finished playing with them. We bought small boxes to separate the different kinds of toys.
TumugonBurahinnaku ganyan talaga mga bata maayus ayus pa nga sya kesa sa anak ko
TumugonBurahini think that's included in the package ;) my friend provided one big container for toys and told her toddler to keep it inside or she'll trow everything on the floor (after playtime)...it does the trick (on her side), suggestion lng...
TumugonBurahinaaawww they'll grow out of it too =) better a happy messy home than a clutter-free yet stiff house =)
TumugonBurahinnaku pareho tayo. if i could just use a voice recorder to tell them to put back their toys, i did it already. but sometimes, they learn by making a mess. what we did is we throw or give other toys that the boys dont play with anymore. and then we keep the others so when they want to play with it, thats when we give it to them. hirap pag lahat ng toys nakalabas, kagulo talaga! dont stop training them to put back their toys in a container. my sons now 4 and 6 know how to put their toys away when i tell them so. but at first its so hard to teach them. theyll learn in time :)
TumugonBurahinhay, its really hard cleaning up after kids playing. they should learn to put back the things in the toy box.
TumugonBurahinhttp://khyutee.wordpress.com
hay, I know how you feel. kahit saan ako tumingin ang dameng toys pero marunong naman magligpit basta sinabihan mo na ligpitan na.
TumugonBurahinGanyan rin kami sa house but they eventually learned to bring out only the toys they will use. Now they return the toys in the rack after they play.
TumugonBurahinHaha I was also like this when I was young.. kaya ang kalat kalat talaga sa house.. but soon when your kids grow up surely they'll learn to de-clutter your place :D and by that time you'll miss telling them to keep their toys.. my mother sure did haha :D
TumugonBurahinclutter is part of having kids at home.. on the happy side, clutter means they are well and healthy to play.. pagmalinis ang bahay at quiet c baby, something is wrong. :)

There's a group on facebook I joined, it's called "To those who know the pain of stepping on lego..." - because I do most of the time step on legos and toys around the kids' room ^_^
TumugonBurahinI have a book with an illustration of a mom stepping on toys and she got hurt, I showed the kids and they somehow understood what it meant...maybe that will work :d - Marie@ViennaAndBeyond
