Twins with their Baby Alive

Last Christmas, Me & my sister planned to give Baby alive as gift to the twins, because whenever they see it in TV in a commercial they always call my attention., they said they want like that..I thought they really like it so I tell it to my sister & hubby and we decided to share 50/50 because Baby alive is pricey huh!! especially that we need to buy 2 because for sure they will not agree to share for one baby alive so imagine 1 piece of baby alive cost P3800?!! OMG  times 2 its 7600..I know its not practical but We I really wanted it for them..so by October I  ordered 2 piece from my office mate whose friend is in the US, By November the doll arrived.., But I kept it and decided to give the present on night of xmas eve..

So here comes Xmas.. They were so excited seeing the box..I wrapped it so that they will have thrill opening the gift.

They were shouting as they open their gift..You can see the happiness and excitement in their faces.

Here are other pics of twins with their baby alive:)

For the first month, they can't let go of that doll..they sleep with their dolls, eat and play..

But after a month, their not interested with the doll anymore.. and the expensive doll was just being left anywhere in the house as if its no worth at all.So I decided to keep it in our cabinet, maybe when they know how to treasure the Dolls I will give it to them but for now I will just keep it..

Just want to share the gift of their lola, one expensive gift also..A microphone, where in Dora sings..its nice actually maybe my twins will develop their singing talent but their using their microphone as weapon "Pambatok sa ulo nila pareho". So like the doll I also kept this microphone., I'll just give it to them when they know how to use it properly.

For me, I will not buy these kinds of stuff because its not practical, especially now that life's so hard..but for the twins happiness Go for it!! and it's a Christmas gift hehe "palusot" We'll be doing everything just for the twins to experience having a comfortable life but not so so much,.. hehe got it??!!

  1. Your twins are adorable! They deserve the dolls though expensive and I think it's not bad to spoil them from time to time, right?

Why not expose them to books as well? That way, they will enjoy it at an earlier age and you might not find it difficult to teach them once they start going to school. Take care :)

    1. I also buy books, The hard bound copies because if not they will just tear them apart.. even the hard bound they also tear it..I think they just didn't know yet the value of things that's why they act like that..good thing they didn't tear their notebooks and activity books during their summer class, they only break their colors one by one..I just ride on what my twins "Trip"..heheheheh..Thanks for dropping by:)

  2. They're so adorable! :D Love the photo with both of them playing with their dolls. Anyhow, I think I'd also have a hard time not giving in to my child's requests when I have to start a family of my own. But I think it's also quite impractical to buy expensive toys 'cause younger children get easily tired atnd "sawa" with their play things after a month or two. Maybe getting them into books and coloring/drawing is a nice and less expensive alternative ^^

  12. I think my toddler will like baby alive but I find it too expensive. Gosh, I cannot imagine how hard it is to care for twins. Double hardwork, double expenses but double happiness in return so I think they are so much worth it.

  14. Aww that's too bad they don't like it anymore :(
Maybe you should make a fort/place for them to play so they don't leave it just anywhere.

That is really expensive. Then again, I'm planning to buy my future kids a certain doll I like myself. I keep wondering when I should buy it for them.

  15. I wonder what is the distinguishing mark between the twins and how you do not get confused mistaking the one from the other ? Was there a time that you bought them toys which are not alike ? Just interested to know.

    1. Jeychelle has a birthmark in her feet,. actually if you just stare at them their face are actually different from each other. Some are just having hard time distinguishing one from the other because their dress/clothes are always the same.. but if not I'm sure trey will not look like twins..and for your last question, No I haven't bought toys or things that are not the same, because for sure it will be world war 3 at home if that will happen,. they will just argue and it will be the start of jealousy.you know!

  18. One can't buy happiness, especially for the happiness and joy for our kids. Anyway, money can be earned again and again. Being kids, can only be happened once. Happy parenting.:-).

  22. I used to see those dolls on television when I was like in elementary. My girl cousins have a few of these dolls. They're adorable really for girls. Kaso kahit gaano kamahal, minsan napagtitripan din ng mga bata. Hihi

  24. I had no idea those Baby Alive dolls cost so much! Maybe after awhile they will look for their dolls ulit, and then play with them more often. I saw in another blog where the dolls have similar outfits as the little girl who owns it. Ang cute! :)

  25. My hubby used to buy expensive toys also for our son. But, you are right after a month or so they will get used to it. Now, even he begs to ask us to buy toys for him, we don't oblige. We only gives him as a reward for a job well done in school.

  26. the little one usually get expensive toy on christmas day from the boyfriend but you're right after a month of playing it my son will not play it anymore but good thing he knows how to keep all his toys. so when he grow older he will realize how lucky he is and should treasure everything he has..

  27. We avoid instantly buying our boys costly toys nowadays. We opted to teach them the value of hard work. if they really want something they have to study well to get it or help mommy and daddy save by not wasting their food and helping in doing the chores.
